The tool enables a direct, mechanical translation of the text to be made on the website. Neither the Swedish Courts Administration nor any other authority within the Courts of Sweden (Sveriges Domstolar) can be held liable for the correctness of the translation.
Bakgrunden till detta uppdrag är regeringens proposition En långsiktigt hållbar organisation för de allmänna förvaltningsdomstolarna (2008/09:165). Frågan om en ny allmän forumregel för allmänna förvaltningsdomstolar i första instans hartidigare behandlats år 2001 i en promemoria till Justitiedepartementet.
